How to Compete on Analytics: The Analytical Center of Excellence

Overview The best approach to supporting and promoting analytics within an enterprise is to develop a centralized group and infrastructure, an Analytical Center of Excellence (ACE). There are several approaches to implementing the ACE infrastructure and organization. These approaches can be viewed in three phases: outsourced, centralized in-house and distributed in-house. The phases are not discrete, but more of a continuum; the ACE infrastructure should be approached from an a la carte perspective.
