The university deployed Terminal Services in Windows Server 2008 Enterprise to provide students with better remote access while eliminating the need for a VPN. With Windows Server 2008, the university simplified its network administration, cut maintenance costs, tightened network security, and is enhancing the overall academic experience of its students.
