Expand Saves Rural Health Provider From Network Overload

Overview GMAHS has WAN links between their biggest sites where most staff is located. Due to increasing numbers of users and amount of traffic, the network becomes almost unworkable at peak times, with staff waiting up to 10 minutes for Citrix ICA screen refresh. This made it very difficult for health professionals and administrators to do their jobs. GMAHS decided to pilot the Expand concept with a live evaluation. The trial demonstrated that Expand Accelerators could be easily integrated into the existing network and produce immediate improvements in network capacity. They also proved an ideal fit for GMAHS's Citrix and Office EP applications.
