Fairmont Supply Accelerates ERP Development With Expand Networks

Overview Fairmont Supply wanted to implement a GUI-based ERP application in order to manage its complex business functions more efficiently. The ERP application is vital to Fairmont's business as it is an integrated system that links Fairmont's customers, suppliers and business partners. However, the new ERP implementation would place more demands on Fairmont Supply's existing Wide Area Network (WAN) resources. The company had to find a quick and cost-effective means to address limited bandwidth availability and expedite the deployment of the new ERP application. Upon the recommendation of Michigan-based network solutions provider, Network Source One, Fairmont Supply decided to deploy Expand's Accelerators on multiple locations in its frame relay network.
