Technical White Paper for Sinkhole Routing

Overview The Sinkhole routing is a security technology based on the BGP. When a network is attacked, one can use the enhanced BGP to trigger the black hole routing technology to lead the attack traffic to the sinkhole router on a corresponding ISP edge router so that one can record, analyze, and discard the attack traffic, and then adopt some protection measures based on the analysis results to ensure normal operation of the whole network.
