The Salvation Army Wonderland Camp
Category: IT Management, Networking and Communications
Tags: productivity, pc, network
Overview The Salvation Army Wonderland Camp and Conference Center located at Camp Lake, Wisconsin is the oldest continuing Salvation Army camp in the United States. Realizing the efficiency, reliability and cost-effectiveness of ever-advancing computer networking technology, The Salvation Army's IT Director, decided it was time to take action and bring the camp's computer systems together into a LAN (Local Area Network); a network would streamline internal systems, bring processes in concert, provide Internet access for each PC and ultimately boost productivity. The D-Link sales and technical team worked closely with Phillips in devising a viable computer network. With the technical kinks worked out and a layout devised, the D-Link network was ready to be installed.
