Tags: sans, lotus notes, ip, software, marketing, applications, data
Overview For the past 160 years, B. Braun has specialised in the design, production, and marketing of products and services for the worldwide healthcare industry. The challenge was to provide accessible storage for software data (NAS), Lotus Notes messaging data (SAN), and SAP production data (SAN) running on any Windows platform (CIFS), while ensuring data permanence. The solution is configured with a clustered FAS960 enterprise storage system, which provides centralised SAN storage for Lotus Notes, SAP applications running on an Oracle Database, and the company's IP telephony-based phone system.
