Simplifying and Automating Storage Request Management

Overview IT Process Centre (ITPC) provides a family of applications to improve IT processes-across server, application, network and storage domains. The ITPC Request Management module streamlines the request and delivery of storage services in accordance with service level agreements, resulting in improved service visibility and control. Growing adoption of server virtualization applications, such as VMware, has reduced the time it takes to provision new server requests from days to minutes. This increases the number of requests and customer expectations around the turnaround time to allocate storage for virtual machines. ITPC also manages storage de-allocation, an essential part of controlling storage growth in virtual environments. ITPC helps storage administrators keep pace with the increased demands and expectations brought on by the broad-based adoption of server virtualization.
