Adaptable Real-Time Turn-by-Turn Handset-Based Navigation

Overview Airbiquity's aqNav is a real-time, turn-by-turn audio navigation platform for GPS- enabled mobile handsets. It leverages existing wireless voice networks to create enhanced 411 navigation services using a commercially available Text-To-Speech (TTS) navigation server. These services are available anywhere within the widely-deployed wireless voice coverage area. Because aqNav updates location information once every second, it is the only real-time adaptive handset navigation system that is able to re-route callers within seconds of making a wrong turn. The aqNav platform is founded on Airbiquity's proven aqLink technology, which has already been deployed for mainstream consumer services in over four million vehicles.
