Its initial solution, using Google Maps, required the company to license reverse-geocoding services separately. By switching to Microsoft Virtual Earth, this data came as part of the service for a large number of countries, including Ireland. Today, the Microsoft environment helps application developers deliver new tracking features 50 per cent faster.
