Ad Hoc Collaboration and Information Services Using Information Clouds

Overview Future wireless communication environments offer many possibilities for new services. Users will not be satisfied with simply being connected, but they will require useful services built on top of the wireless networks. iClouds is an architecture which offers spontaneous mobile user interaction, collaboration, and transparent data exchange in mobile ad hoc networks. This paper presents several services which they have built on top of the basic iClouds architecture. They have built a basic information exchange service, an information sprinkler, a virtual notice board, and an advertisement service which can significantly increase the coverage of advertisements.
