Migrating a Local Microsoft Cluster to HP StorageWorks Cluster Extension EVA White Paper

Overview HP StorageWorks Cluster Extension EVA (CLX EVA) for Windows offers a superior way of protecting the applications against major disasters by combining Windows clustering technology with storage-based replication, in this case HP StorageWorks Continuous Access EVA. With CLX EVA one can create geographically dispersed clusters - meaning clusters with nodes and storage arrays distributed across two sites - providing disaster tolerance in case of core component failures like storage systems and site disasters like fire, power outage, or even larger natural disasters. This white paper describes how to migrate an existing shared quorum cluster to a fully disaster tolerant CLX EVA setup.
