ICE: A Flexible Network Monitoring Access Environment

Overview The visualization of network monitoring data is very important to help users and administrators know the state of the network and take actions to improve its usefulness and/or performance. Although many initiatives intend to provide this visualization to the users, very few cared in doing it in an integrated, flexible and reusable way. This paper presents the ICE environment which provides these functionalities inside a robust platform for the development of network monitoring access tools.
