Hospital Reduces PC Imaging Time by More Than 75 Percent, Increases Level of Service
Overview Central DuPage Hospital needed to decrease the time for reimaging computers when users faced issues. The hospital now uses Microsoft Systems Management Server 2003 and a custom-developed Web interface for remote reimaging of PCs. The hospital estimates a savings of U.S.$150,000 in IT efficiencies and has reduced the time to reimage a PC by 75 percent. It also gets users back to work more quickly for better patient care.
