Overview For nearly fifty years, Illinois-based Stevens Industries has been a market leader in the manufacture of custom laminates and millwork. Stevens Industries wanted to deploy some advanced applications that would take its customer service and production cycle times to a whole new level, but it doubted the feasibility of a converged solution and needed an expert servicing partner. An Avaya IP Network Readiness Assessment provided an infrastructure evaluation, which enabled Stevens Industries to prepare for convergence. An existing Avaya DEFINITY Communications Server was IP-enabled, and an Avaya Converged Infrastructure Solution was implemented (formerly Avaya CAJUN data switches) and a VoIP solution resulted.
