Chubb Insurance Company of Europe: Protecting the Performance of Key Business Applications and Improving User Productivity

Overview Chubb Europe employees use a "Fat-client" application to access centrally hosted applications. With the volume of traffic increasing on the network, including bandwidth-intensive applications such as videoconferencing, Chubb realized it needed to increase network capacity and prevent the continued deterioration in performance of a key business application. Chubb deployed Juniper Networks application acceleration platforms to address poor application performance and network congestion. It is also in the process of rolling out a Quality of Service (QoS) provision using the Juniper Networks WX Framework to support additional application deployments such as Voice over IP (VoIP).
