Overview These Application Notes describe the configuration steps required to connect Polycom SoundPoint IP 550 SIP telephones to a SIP infrastructure consisting of an Avaya SIP Enablement Services (SES) server and an Avaya S8300 Server with Avaya G700 Media Gateway running Avaya Communication Manager. Also described is how Avaya Communication Manager features can be made available in addition to the standard features supported in the telephone. The configuration steps described are also applicable to other Avaya Servers and Media Gateways running Avaya Communication Manager.
