Verizon Business's Fully Managed Network Wraps Up Global Communications for Elopak
Category: Networking and Communications
Tags: verizon, vpn, ip, infrastructure, network, management
Overview Elopak is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Ferd Group, one of Norway's largest privately owned industrial groups. The existing VPN infrastructure, however, was failing to deliver the necessary performance, let alone the agility the company needed to move forward. Elopak needed to increase the performance and availability of its wide-area network and, with further expansion planned into new geographies, make it easy to add additional sites in the future. It also wanted to reduce the total cost of ownership of its communications network and make infrastructure costs more predictable, regardless of the size or location of sites. Elopak began evaluating potential service providers. They needed a service provider that would take care of the day-today management for them and assure them of a responsive service. They chose Verizon Business.
