Overview This webcast, first in the series of Windows Vista and Windows Server "Longhorn": Understanding, Enhancing, and Extending Security, introduces several of the new security architecture components and technologies in Windows Vista and Windows Server "Longhorn". Each component provides a unique value-added extensibility and/or provider model framework to develop and extend the functionality of the platform. This webcast provides an overview and description of enhancements to components such as credential providers for logon and authentication, key service providers for the next generation cryptographic architecture, smartcard modules for token devices as well as X.509 enrollment and management application interfaces.
