Overview Sebago needed a remote access and presentation virtualization solution that would meet its growing security and performance requirements. Somma and his team were focused on performance, cost of additional hardware, operating system capabilities, interoperability with its existing technologies, as well as Sebago's reliance on Websense for third-party Internet content filtering. Rather than search for a custom presentation virtualization solution, Somma turned to Sebago's stalwart IT partner, WinXnet, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, to recommend a secure and high-performing solution that could clean up its remote access issues and reinforce its network. WinXnet recommended deploying a test server using Windows Server 2008. Over a week, WinXnet deployed Windows Server 2008 and its Terminal Services suite onto an Intel-based Dell 2950 computer.
