WebSphere Process Server for z/OS V.6.1: WPS "Easy" Network Deployment Configuration

Overview There are many different ways to configure WebSphere Process Server (WPS) on z/OS. One can configure a standalone server using Cloudscape (Derby) or with DB2 tables for the persistence. This is a good way to get started. However, for a production environment, one needs a Network Deployment (ND) configuration for availability, scalability, performance, and systems management reasons. The traditional way to configure WPS in an ND cell is to start with a Deployment Manager and an "Empty Node"; configure each for WPS, then federate the empty node, add a server or cluster, and perform many "Post-configuration" tasks.
