Overview This webcast looks at technologies in the Windows Server 2008 operating system that can help to enhance security and manageability at remote locations. First the presenter explores the deployment and features of Read-Only Domain Controllers (RODCs), explains the advantages and limitations of RODCs, and describes why RODCs can benefit remote locations. Next the presenter examines delegating the administrative role on RODCs and then examines using Windows BitLocker Drive Encryption to protect data where physical security cannot be guaranteed. Finally, the presenter discusses networking enhancements in the new TCP/IP stack that make connectivity to remote locations faster and more reliable.
