Adding New Firmware Versions to the UpdateXpress CD

Overview This white paper shows how to integrate new firmware update packages into the bootable portion of the UpdateXpress CD and create a new UpdateXpress.iso image file. Newer firmware updates may be downloaded manually from the IBM server support website or obtained via UpdateXpress Live. This whitepaper also does not cover adding new machine support to the UpdateXpress CD. It only covers adding newer firmware updates to machines that are already supported.
