Grupo Fybeca Consolidates Client Information in a Single Database and Maximizes Productivity

Overview Grupo Fybeca wanted to gain a stable, flexible solution to adapt to the company's needs and establish a robust, reliable, and highly available database capable of managing high levels of client information. The challenge was to centralize and consolidate up-to-date information for use in different sales points and for improved decision making. As a solution the company worked with Oracle Consulting to implement new applications and migrate from FOXBASE to Oracle Database on a UNIX system, achieving stability and maximum availability. It also collaborated with Business Mind Ecuador to implement a monitoring solution, along with Oracle Enterprise Manager, which preventatively - and without intrusion - analyzes the behavior of 270 pharmacies in a distributed environment.
