Replacing a flurry of phone calls and disjointed emails, a simple dispatch solution was created with Microsoft Office Small Business Edition 2003 and Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2003 that saved each technician up to an hour each day that could now be turned into billable time, a projected revenue increase of U.S. $195,000 annually. Billable time and parts are captured daily using Microsoft Office Access 2003 as both a front-end form and back-end database, with an estimated 5 to 10 percent gain in accuracy.
