Borland Software Case Study: EPL
Category: Software and Web Development
Tags: union, java, applications, data
Overview Founded in 1977, EPL is a full-service provider of integrated data processing solutions and technology to credit unions. EPL is dedicated to delivering high-quality, cost-effective applications and services that predict, evaluate, implement, improve and customize data processing solutions that provide value to credit union members. Off late, EPL was preparing to develop a new CUE Passport product that would provide shared branching for its credit union customers. The CUE Passport project was completed and deployed in a record six months, and EPL celebrated its first J2EE application on Oracle9i. The deep support of Together ControlCenter for J2EE was essential to EPL because its new framework and architecture was based upon the Java standard.
