Korean Internet Company Speeds User Authentication: Expects to Save $3.1 Million

Overview CJ Internet needed a solution that could manage 25 million user identities using multiple directory servers and Web servers. The company tested a solution consisting of Sun ONE Directory Server and Netegrity SiteMinder. CJ Internet also tested a solution using the Active Directory service in Windows Server 2003 along with NETS*Web Single Sign-On (SSO) from NETS, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner. Both solutions achieved similar performance and stability. However, CJ Internet chose the solution based on Windows Server 2003 and NETS*Web SSO, because it offered advanced directory features, better expansion capacity, and lower costs. CJ Internet upgraded its system from Microsoft Windows 2000 Server operating system to Windows Server 2003.
