Overview NCI Technologies provides IT services and financial solutions for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), as well as schools in the United Kingdom. Off late, NCI wanted to provide its SME customers with a cost-effective solution to deliver services used by larger companies, such as latest unified messaging features, including access to Microsoft Office Outlook inbox through mobile devices, faster data processing servers and integrated line-of-business applications. NCI started working on the beta version of Windows Small Business Server 2008 - the latest version of the Microsoft integrated server suite. The company found that, compared to Windows Small Business Server 2003, its data-processing speed is 35 per cent higher and runs third-party applications faster due to better integration.
