Overview Globe recognized that the flexibility and interactive nature of the Internet presented opportunities to significantly reinforce its thought leadership position in firefighter safety with a level of depth they could not achieve through print and at trade shows. Globe's challenge was to maintain its brand focus and leading industry presence in an online environment while driving significant traffic to its family of brands Web site. In conjunction with the Globe team, FireRescue1 created a unique online marketing program combining a number of elements including product category sponsorships across both fire and EMS, heavy share of voice through banner ads, e-newsletter ads, 'What's Hot' homepage placements, and content and section sponsorships.
