MSDN Webcast: A Lap Around the Entity Framework from the DBA's Viewpoint (Level 300 )

Overview The Microsoft ADO.NET Entity Framework is a data technology that ships as part of Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1. The Entity Framework enables application developers to define domain models against which they can perform CRUD operations with very expressive query capabilities. The presenter of this webcast investigates how the Entity Framework allows developers and DBAs to agree on a conceptual model, which can act as a shared contract that frees the DBA to modify the actual database as appropriate so long as the contract can still be satisfied using the Entity Frameworks powerful mapping technology and related features.
