Tags: bi, management
Overview Samsung Electronics is the highest order of global company with more than 90 overseas offices in 52 countries all over the world. Samsung Electronics entered into a business management system with scenarios that can instantly recognize signs of environmental changes and counteract accordingly. To accomplish this, the company turned to IT as a lever to support this new strategy and, as a leader in innovation, planned this IT project to provide insight into its SCM. Samsung Electronics judged that it must operate a market-based SCM in order to make early detection of changes in the global market environment and adapt to change requirements in a short period of time, so it decided to deploy Microsoft's BI platform, including SQL Server 2008, to implement its market demand-based SCM.
