Overview This paper provides concepts and procedures that will help successfully consolidate Microsoft SQL Server instances from multiple machines onto a single Windows Server 2008 system using Microsoft's Hyper-V. This paper uses the Dell PowerEdge R900 and PowerEdge R905 as target servers.
