Overview The focus of this white paper is to document the results of performance testing for the Dell/Microsoft Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing reference configurations. Using a simulated database of 10 terabytes and 20 Terabytes (using SQL Server 2008 page compression), tests were performed, including I/O stress, index creation of a table of five billion rows, concurrent query loading and backup and recovery timings.
