Avantis Demonstrates Superior Reliability and Quality in Kingston's Schools

Category: Storage

Tags: cd-rom, cd

Overview The Royal Borough of Kingston recommends products to schools and installs the equipment they need. The company assured that Kingston makes sure they carry out strenuous testing before recommending any product. They have a central purchasing division who look at, rate and test all the products they use. Royal Borough of Kingston began looking at the CD Servers as a replacement for their previous solution. Kingston deployed Avantis CDserve+ Multimedia Server which was using conventional CD towers. The advantage of the Avantis solution is that it is hard disk rather than optical based. This means it is much faster and more hardwearing than a CD jukebox or tower.
