The Director of Records & Information Management was aware that without a revamped digital solution and strategy for federated records management the firm would be open to a bevy of challenges. The challenges included increased risks of non-compliance with their client's government and regulatory requirements and additional costs due to additional searching for audits, discovery litigation support. The director's vision for the firm leveraged key technologies, including CA MDY FileSurf and CA MDY Imaging, which were in place but not being fully utilized when he joined.
