Overview The ability to have detailed information at your fingertips can make or break a deal, particularly for a product development company like Synapse, whose innovative team of engineers helps bring new inventions, such as an anthrax detector, into the marketplace. Off late, Synapse engineers brainstormed solutions in their spiral notebooks, on clipboards, and on whiteboards. It took substantial time to transcribe these notes into a reusable format. Sometimes handwritten notes were illegible and dispersed information was lost. Off late, the team started using Microsoft Office OneNote 2003 to take, organize, and share notes. Within three months Synapse signed two new clients, thanks, in part, to more effective teamwork made possible by time-saving features in OneNote.
